The instructions for using our glue-free patch are as follows:

1. Completely deflate the inner tube after locating the puncture point.
2. Use a metal file to grind the edge of the hole, creating a new, slightly larger surface area. Ensure the polished inner tube is free of foreign matter, stains, and oil.
3. Properly position the patch on the prepared surface of the inner tube and press it for 10 seconds. Avoid air bubbles or wrinkles during the process.

Regarding potential reasons for failed patch applications:

1. If the inner tube surface has not been properly filed, the patch may not bond effectively, leaving a gap between the adhesive surfaces due to the lack of necessary pressing.
2. If the hole's center on the inner tube deviates from the patch's center, the patch's force on the air pressure generated by the hole will be uneven, causing a gap for air leakage.
3. Stains, water, grease (especially oil stains), and foreign objects on the new surface after grinding can compromise the patch's effectiveness.
